Oakley x CNCPTS x Heartbreak

It’s before dawn.

The air sits around 50 degrees, that strange New England spring where winter hasn’t fully let go. Patches of snow still cling to the edges of the road.

You’re ten miles in. Race day is tomorrow — but the race was never just tomorrow. It’s the miles before it. The dark mornings. The long roads no one else wants. Gravel kicks beneath your feet as you move down a quiet back road. Your breath steadies. The cold fades.

You’ve found it.

Flow state.

But even flow needs fuel.

You haven’t seen a car in miles. No houses. No lights. Just the road.

Then, through the early morning fog, something appears in the distance — a glow cutting through the dark. Under fluorescent light, you see it immediately.

That unmistakable rainbow sheen of oil on pavement.

A gas station.

Out here? At this hour?

You weren’t expecting to see anything. But it’s the only stop for miles, so you pull in.

The awning hums overhead, lighting the empty road like an oasis.

Inside, the convenience store feels… different.

The shelves aren’t stocked with what you’d expect. The man behind the counter seems to know why you’re here before you do.

Beside the counter, something waits — two pairs of futuristic Oakley sunglasses. Their lenses shimmer with the same iridescent glow as the oil spill that first caught his eye outside, shifting colors under the fluorescent lights. He picks one of them up without thinking. They make him feel invincible.

Maybe this isn’t just a gas station. Maybe it’s a Fuel Station.

Because sometimes the thing that keeps you moving isn’t what you came looking for.

Sometimes it’s what you find along the way.
