Introducing the Salem Apparel Collection

Nobody does Halloween better than our home, New England. The Salem Collection, named after Massachusetts’ Witch City, costumes our in-house apparel line with gory horror film inspired graphics.

“From Ugly Sweater Dunks to the Turdunken, we’ve always had fun crafting stories around the holidays,” says Deon Point, Concepts Creative Director. “Honoring the heritage of horror movies set in New England, as well as the broader history of our region, allowed us an authentic lane into the holiday.”

Application of the Salem Collections graphics epitomizes our approach. Each project is grounded in a deep dive into pop culture, and the information is then twisted to in deliver a nuanced set of design details.

The Salem collection hits on a full range of frightful Americana: including b-movie kitsch and classic horror literature. The Corpse hoodie carries a recognizable zombie-like font, while the sweatpant flips the Concepts’ “C”.

Each garment in the collection follows our studied approach to fit and fabrication. The Concepts Icon hoodie, with a subtle drop shoulder in ode to ‘90s skate style, and sweatpants are built of 19.5oz cotton. T-shirts are made with a 10.5oz cotton body and contemporary relaxed fit.

The Concepts Salem collection coincides with the release of the Nike Dunk SB “Mummy” which will be raffled October 22, with winners announced on October 27.

The Salem collection follows these drops, releasing October 22 at 10am ET via cncpts.com and at Concepts’ Boston Flagship. The collection will release at 11am ET at Concepts NYC.
