Since 1965, Parisian footwear powerhouse Mephisto has quietly led a revolution in comfort. With its “Soft-Air Technology” and undeniably classic silhouettes, including the inimitable Match, Mephisto is the epitome of easy elegance. This year, our third collaboration with Mephisto pushes into new territory by envisioning a full head-to-toe package of contemporary leisure wear.
“Within streetwear, Mephisto has always been an ‘if you know, you know’ favorite. Our third collaboration with the brand pays respect to its position and elevates the stature of the classic Match to pinnacle comfort shoe.” says Concepts Creative Director Deon Point.
Navy and greyscale color-schemes may have obvious reference point, but on the Concepts x Mephisto Match we fully reframe the familiar. The color blocking highlights the shoe’s distinct stance, while also presenting it a new gracefulness.
The smooth stance of the Match correlates to a full complementary collection of our in-house apparel that similarly uplifts relaxed garments. “Building a full apparel collection with Mephisto allowed us to expand our story and further promote our vision of contemporary luxury. Craft and comfort should never be dissociated. This collaboration is all about refining our daily go-to pieces,” says Point.
Our signature graphic language comes through in a flip of our partner’s logo across a tee, the Stepper Crewneck and a suede ball cap. An embroidered tackle twill logo on the hooded sweatshirts grants texture to a classic construction. Subtle 3M hits elevate a matching Nylon Jacket and Chino, and a set of socks showcases new co-branding.
