Concepts joins New Balance for a special “Varsity Weekend” pack. Celebrating athletic rivalries, Concepts worked on two Made in the USA models, the 998 and the 990. Drawing inspiration from classic varsity colors, the pack will be a worldwide exclusive to Concepts. The 998 uses a premium suede upper and features branded insoles that call back to Massachusetts bandana manufacturing and dyeing plants, which after wear and sweat, turned a bandana to a deep red color which is popular to this day.

The 990 features pig-skin suede and the ABZORB® cushioning technology that has made the 990 popular for decades. The 990 features a midsole adorned with Concepts in Varsity lettering, 3m reflective detailing on the heel and side walls, with grey and navy accenting. Both sneakers will release Saturday, November 19th online at 12pm eastern and in-store at 10am. The 998 will retail $180 while the 990 will retail $160 respectfully.
