Concepts Gives Back To Organizations Fighting for Equality

Our recent collaboration on the Nike Air Max 1 highlights the vibrant youth culture of the 1960s. The decade, one of the most contentious in history, birthed a youth-led that embraced peace, love, and unity in time of turmoil, and sent a message to the universe.

While the festivals, fashions, vibes are captured in our Air Max 1 designs; the push for progress and societal change comes through our collective actions. Coinciding with our final drop, we embody the spirit of an earlier era and announce one-time donations to five organizations fighting for equality today.

It’s our hope that you will take the time to learn more about each organization working towards making a difference.

Ali Forney Center is the nation's largest non-profit providing shelter and healthcare services to LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness in NYC.

She Is the Music makes strides towards creating equality, inclusivity and opportunity for women in music.

UNHCR rushes in humanitarian aid during refugee crises and is leading efforts to save lives in Ukraine.

The Epiphany School encourages bright and curious city kids to push towards their interests in design with scholarships for all.

Our selections have direct connections to the social developments of the ‘60s, specifically the Anti-War, Civil Rights, Gay Rights, and Feminist movements. The issues underlying these movements are still present in 2022. These organizations we’ve selected continue to carry the torch of equality and are paying it forward to the next generation.
