The Crocs EXP Tembo II RO, Built for What's Next

There's a version of the Tembo that only the true Crocs heads remember. Released in 2010 - a clog-sneaker hybrid that felt ahead of its time.

The Tembo II RO doesn't ask you to have that memory. It gives you a reason to make a new one.

This new silhouette keeps the bones of the original - that in-between shape, part clog, part sneaker, that never quite fit into either category. The one-piece Croslite upper is still there, still punctuated with the perforations that make it unmistakably Crocs.

What's gone is the extended ripstop nylon collar from the original. In its place: a slimmer, cleaner silhouette that reads closer to a traditional sneaker without losing what made the Tembo strange in the first place.

The difference is in the details.

Underfoot, a Vibram® rubber outsole brings real traction and all-terrain durability - the kind of grip the original was never built with. Inside, a removable Polartec® fleece liner, the same material trusted by some of outerwear's best cold-weather brands, keeps the whole thing warm without adding bulk.

The two are connected by a midfoot nylon strap, a small structural detail that holds the wraparound construction together and keeps the fit locked in when the liner's in or out.

The Crocs EXP Tembo II RO will be available in Elephant and Orange Zing in-stores and on cncpts.com August 27th at 10AM EST.
