Expanding on last summer’s Heritage Pack, our latest collection with New Era mixes civic and community pride by honoring the diverse communities that make Boston and New York what each is today.

We’ve taken the New Era 59fifty, a staple since 1954, and augmented the classic Red Sox or Yankee style with country flags at the right temple. These flags include those of Barbados, Brazil, Cape Verde, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Italy, Ireland, Jamaica, Nigeria, and Puerto Rico.

For our launch campaign we’ve chosen to highlight Nuyorican and Puerto Rican pride in New York City by featuring super middleweight boxer Edgar Berlanga. Nicknamed “The Chosen One,” Berlanga has stormed out of Bushwick, NY to an 18-0 professional record. For Concepts, he has been styled and photographed by fellow Nuyorican Mellany Sanchez.
