Last month, we partnered with local community leader Jamad Fiin to support her inaugural Jamad Basketball Camp Summer League Tournament. Organized to give young girls who don't typically have access to athletics the resources to play, JBC aims to empower all girls through basketball to teach them how to be better people on and off the court.

As a young Muslim girl, Jamad noticed other girls like her were never seen playing on the basketball court. Her love for the game and determination to always get better led her to be the senior captain of the Emmanuel College Women's Basketball Team. Now as a Boston native, she continues to give back to her local community, especially as a mentor to the next generation of Muslim girls in the sport.
