*UPDATE: Thank you to all who participated in our 1 Step At A Time campaign. Because of your generosity, we donated over $8,500 and 3,300 socks to the Brookview House in Boston and @covenanthouseny in NYC. With winter upon us, these socks will help the homeless during the colder months.

Continuing our commitment to the communities in which we reside and work, this cold-winter season we’re proud to support local shelters, because we all need help at some time or another.

Although the number of homeless in the city of Boston are down from previous years, there is still over 3,000 people that depend on shelters for assistance.In New York, there are 58K homeless (including 13K families with 19K children), seeking help from the city municipal shelter system. Sadly, families make up two-thirds of the sheltered population.

So how can you help?

‘1 STEP AT A TIME’ is seasonal Concepts campaign designed to aid those in our communities that are less fortunate and need a helping hand. One of the most requested items at shelters during this time of year, are socks. This is where you come in, and there are two ways to participate:

STARTING MONDAY 11/10 Bring in a NEW (and unused) pair of socks to donate at our CONCEPTS store locations in Boston and NYC

OR

Add a $1, $3, or $5 donation to your in-store or on-line orders.

100% of proceeds raised and socks donated will be evenly distributed between THE BROOKVIEW HOUSE in Boston and THE COVENANT HOUSE in New York.
