Concepts x Diadora "Lira" Release Details
Concepts joins Italian-based Diadora on the MADE IN ITALY N 9000 silhouette. The Concepts x Diadora N 9000 “Lira” calls back to Italy’s pre-Euro currency, the Italian Lire. Specifically, the shoe features the color scheme found on the 500,000 Lira note, the highest denomination bill in Italy’s history. Colors are pulled from the aquamarine and and pink on the back of the bill, which featured the Italian painter/architect Raffaello. The bill in its entirety can be found printed on the custom Concepts branded insoles. The upper makes use of an extremely high quality suede that blends in the pastel colors of the 500,000 Lira note on the paneling. “500000” is stitched in green the heel of each sneaker, while the Diadora logo features subtle 3m backing. Shoes come with 3 sets of laces and Concepts specific box.
