Concepts Community: Young Artist Series

Continuing our long-standing partnership with the Epiphany School, we gifted their students Concepts tees and hoodies featuring artwork made by one of their 8th grade students, Callia Fields.

Callia is a Visual major at Epiphany and already has dreams of becoming a full-time artist. She loves street art and city murals, and one of her biggest inspirations is Basquiat. The idea behind her design is centered around young black and brown people embracing who they are, and how important it is to be together and intertwined in the fight for equality. She also adds a nice touch with the crowns, which symbolize royalty.

Epiphany students wore the tees and hoodies to their Black History Showdown last week, where each grade went head-to-head, putting their knowledge of black historical figures and events to the test in an exhilarating competition.

Epiphany is an independent school for children of economically disadvantaged families in Boston, with scholarships for all. We’re very proud to support Epiphany and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them.
